BOLLINGTON Festival MAY 22nd

BOGNOR Comedy Festival JUNE 7th

Punchlines derive their humour from being unexpected - “Punch” indicating that the “Line” should come as a surprise or shock. The major school of thought suggests that few Punchlines are inherently funny out of context. There is another school of thought (Actually Dave’s school of thought) that the opposite can be true. In this new show he will present evidence to support this. He quotes : - “Nice tits , where do you want your blinds?” / “It’s not my dog” / That’s my Thermos flask !” Then of course there’s Nuns. Nuns in baths, Nuns on bikes & Prince Charles wearing a fox hat. Dave will argue that you don’t always need a Punchline for a joke to be hilarious and suggests that if you doubt him, you should ask the bloke with the big orange head.

This Autumn he will preview the show at Chorley Little Theatre on Sept 25th then on to Kidderminster Town Hall on Sep 27th, Melton Theatre Oct 2, Darwen Library Theatre on Oct 3rd Middleton Arena Oct 24, Rotherham Civic Oct 25, Huddersfield Lawrence Batley Theatre Nov 1, Lytham Lowther Nov 6, Lancaster Grand Nov 7, Bolton Octagon Nov 8, Warrington Parr Hall Nov 15, Skipton Mart Theatre Nov 21, Wolverhampton Wulfrun Hall Nov 28 and Doncaster Dome Nov 29.
